A FRENCH Connection shop on Chapel Street's trendy South Yarra retail strip fetched $7.55 million at auction.
The two adjoining shops at 543-545 Chapel St cover a total floor area of 333sq m on two levels. They are leased for five years from June 2004 with a further five year option, returning $251,320 a year. Auctioned by Teska Carson agent Michael Ludski, the sale represented a yield of 3.2 per cent.
